BMI and Walton Consulting Present Maximizing Value Seminar

In May of 2017, Dave Clark and Tom Kerchner of BMI and David Olson of Walton Consulting jointly presented a program for business owners detailing how to maximize business value. Held at the Lehigh Country Club, the seminar addressed the long term and short term actions that business owners and their advisors should be taking to improve their businesses and ultimately maximize business value. Regardless of whether a business is sold or transferred to the next generation or management, certain issues remain crucial to success. Mr. Olson presented an overview of 18 drivers of business value to be addressed over the longer term such as brand, management, customer and product diversification. BMI presented the key factors to success when selling a business including preparation, deal team, understanding buyer types and negotiation strategies. The program was sponsored by Provident Bank, Peerless Business Advisors and Gross McGinley Attorneys at Law.
