Architectural Stone Business Sold to Private Investor and Operator
BMI Mergers & Acquisitions announces the sale of a Northeast building stone manufacturing and distribution company. The company consists of a distributor of stones from around the world, a value add manufacturing operation and several quarries.
The owners retained BMI to assist in the sale of the business. BMI worked closely with the seller to obtain multiple offers and bring the sale to a successful close at the end of July 2020.
The company sells to contractors and retailers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. It has seen steady growth in revenue and profits even thru the Covid pandemic. The seasoned management team, diverse product offering, and strong and diverse customer network makes this a strong company. The management team and staff are expected to stay with the company post closing.
The transaction has not been publicly announced. This is one of three specialty construction businesses sold by BMI in June and July 2020.
