Brendon Derr

Brendon has supported the strategic and growth goals of mid-market business owners for more than 20 years. A former executive at firms in the staffing, consulting, marketing services and software sectors, Brendon possesses a nuanced understanding of the trends, business models and buyer landscapes in these markets. As such he will be working closely with business owners in the professional services sector as they prepare for and execute their business sale plans.

Brendon has consulted with more than one hundred businesses through significant transition periods, ranging from Fortune 10 corporations to start-ups. In late 2020, he launched his own strategy consultancy to help mid-market professional and business services firms get organized around commercial growth, corporate development, and M&A exit strategies. Soon after that, in 2021, he led the strategic positioning, packaging, and sell-side outreach campaign to find a strategic buyer for a multi-million dollar marketing management company.

His clients have since represented a variety of services-based industries, including commercial real estate, marketing technology consulting, digital product design, staffing, virtual health and HR services. Brendon also founded and now moderates the RevExecs Roundtable, a peer-to-peer insights exchange for CEOs of mid-market professional and business services firms.

Beginning in 2010, Brendon led the enterprise go-to-market and growth efforts for a start-up management consulting division in the marketing space. His team built a client base of several hundred enterprise clients, including brands like Walmart, Comcast, Vanguard, Pfizer, Coca-Cola, and Chevron. In 2021, the division accounted for the majority of the parent company’s revenue when it was acquired at an enterprise value of $130 million.

Brendon is a graduate of Penn State University and lives in Southeastern Pennsylvania with his wife and three children.
