Colette Cocco

Colette Cocco brings over twenty-five years of business ownership, sales leadership, and consulting experience within consumer products, professional services, and the waste/ recycling industries. At Procter & Gamble, she provided business development and co-marketing programs with leading national retailers. While at P&G, Colette led marketing projects for the Duncan Hines and Folger brands and sales efforts at major food retailers. Prior to this, she worked for two advertising/marketing agencies.

More recently, as a business consultant, she helped business owners and other executives launch new initiatives focusing on innovation and strategy to drive growth.

Colette began her relationship with BMI Mergers & Acquisitions as a business buyer. As President and Owner, she grew her recycling company from a struggling operation to one of the region’s highest-volume battery recyclers. When it came time to sell the business, she chose to be represented by BMI due to their skill, professionalism, and ability to add value during the original purchase.

She has served as part-time Corporate Faculty at Harrisburg University, teaching Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Management courses. Colette is also actively involved with the American Business Women’s Association as a board member and is the current President of the Lancaster chapter.

Colette holds a BA in Communications from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. She grew up in South Dakota and now resides in Raleigh, NC, with her husband.
